Guide your guests on where they should, or should not, stand or any other directive (such as "Please Use Other Door", "Keep 6 Feet Apart", etc.) with these crowd control barriers with your message printed on them.

Help set social distancing guidelines in your restaurant, gym, business waiting area, etc. This kit can be used in the same way as crowd control stanchions, but instead of using a retractable belt or velvet rope, you have an adjustable width crossbar that you extend. All at a lower price than most crowd control stanchions!

IMPORTANT: Because of the nature of usage for this item, all sales are final. Please read all of the information below and ensure that the height, width options, and overall application will work for your needs.

This 3 foot (36 inch) tall social distancing kit includes 2 black Uprights (vertical pipes), 2 black Base Plates with included 6 inch tall Base Pins (approx. 7 lbs. each), and your choice of adjustable width Crossbar (horizontal pipe):

B400 = 3 foot wide to 5 foot wide

B401 = 4 foot wide to 7 foot wide

B402 = 6 foot wide to 10 foot wide

B403 = 7 foot wide to 12 foot wide

Any of these Crossbar size options can have the width set to any dimension between the minimum and maximum listed. These all feature button stop increments for quick measuring, but the Crossbar does not have to be set to a button stop width. The narrower Crossbar sizes are intended for forming pathways & crowd control lines, blocking / guiding guests for entrances and exits, and creating the shorter sides of rectangle structures while using longer Crossbars as the separation from person to person. If using this item for social distancing, the current guidelines are to ensure that there is 6 feet of space between guests, so please keep that in mind when determining your Crossbar selection.

You'll also receive a Crossbar Cover (covers the horizontal crossbar pipe) in your choice of available colors. The length that you'll receive is based on the longest dimension of the Crossbar size option you select (it will be gathered / bunched up if using your Crossbar at a narrower width than the maximum setting). For example, if you select the 4 foot to 7 foot Crossbar width option, your Crossbar Cover will be 7 feet long.

Display any message that you want to show with the included 18 inch wide dye sublimated printed sign sleeve! White fabric with black lettering, featuring a hook-and-loop closure. Simply enter your message and select your font type from the product options. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE SPELLING AND CAPITALIZATION THAT YOU ENTER. YOUR SIGN SLEEVE WILL BE PRINTED EXACTLY AS SUBMITTED. CLICK THE TIP ICON "(?)" AT THE SIGN SLEEVE MESSAGE OPTION FOR IMPORTANT INFO.

A Fixed Upright is one piece. It does not break down into smaller sections or otherwise adjust in height or width. As a manufacturer, we can customize most products - please contact us if you need a different height and/or width.

Using the screw located in the bottom of the base pin, push the threaded screw through the bottom of the base (the screw head should rest against the flat part of the base, not the raised counter-sunk part).

Then, screw the base pin onto the base (the base pin goes on the raised portion).

Tip: For maximum stability, we recommend using the center hole for your base pin.

Our Slip-Fit Uprights are hollow, so putting them onto the base is easy! Just slide the upright over the pin.

Tip: Make sure that the "top slots" -- located right near one of the ends of the upright -- are at the top when you put it on the base. If you put the upright upside down (where the top slots are put over the base pin), then you won't be able to use the drape support rod.

Using the sewn-in pole pocket on your drape, "sleeve" the drape(s) onto the drape support rod.

Now that your drape is on your drape support rod, place the hook end of the drape support rod into one of the open slots on the upright.

Tip: Have both of your uprights set up and in place so that each hook end of the drape support rod has a home.

You're all done! In less than 10 minutes you now have a pipe and drape backdrop. For an extra tip, continue reading below.

Extra tip - Making sure your spacing is correct:

Once you have the base pin on your bases (Step 1), take the drape support rod, set it to the width that you would like, and carefully place it on the floor. Then put a base at each hook end -- where each hook end is lined up to where each base pin is located.

This helps you check that your spacing is correct before you've already put your drapes on the support rod.

If you want to double check, put your uprights over the base pin (Step 2) and hook the support rod into the lower slots (if available; not all uprights have lower slots). Check to see if it is properly spaced, and then proceed to Step 3.
