IFR Banjo fabric for pipe and drape curtains

NOTE: Photo above is a close-up of the fabric. Texture and size may not be proportional to the actual fabric.

BANJO has a long history of being recognized as the industry standard for conventions, and is most often used by convention centers for trade shows, job fairs, and other similar events. This medium weight material has a semi-sheen and features an irregular thread pattern throughout. There is a brighter sheen (almost a "sparkle") at the portions where the threads are the thickest.

When sewn into drapes for pipe and drape displays, a 4" rod pocket is sewn into the top and bottom. The edges have a useable "selvedge". A minimum of 4 drape panels are suggested per 10 foot wide span, which would give approximately 60% fullness.

Fabric Content: 100% Polyester
Flame Retardancy: Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR)
Fabric Width: Approximately 48 inches wide (left to right).
Laundering: Machine washable & dryer safe.
Opacity: Approximately 50% to 60%*

*This opacity percentage is an estimate only, and for normal/standard lighting situations. A variety of factors can affect the opacity of a fabric, including where it is being used (near a wall vs. dividing the middle of a room), light sources (such as hanging in front of a window with sunlight shining in, etc.), and the amount of fullness in the material (the amount of "bunching").

Banjo drapes are available in the following colors (click on any of the smaller swatches for a larger view). The colors shown below are for representation only. Different electronic devices, and their settings and resolutions, may show colors differently than the actual fabric. Free swatch samples are available upon request. Banjo fabric, like any fabric, can have dye lot differences in future orders.

Premier Pipe and Drape Curtain Fabric

PREMIER (also known as Poly Premier) has a more upscale look compared to Banjo, and is most often used for worship spaces, wedding backdrops, photo booths & photography backdrops, graduation ceremonies, and much more. Its low price point and elegant appearance makes this our best selling material.

When sewn into drapes for pipe and drape displays, a 4" rod pocket is sewn into the top and bottom. Edges have the selvedge cut off, but no further edge finishing is performed (the material does not fray). A minimum of 3 drape panels are suggested per 10 foot wide span, which would give approximately 50% fullness.

Fabric Content: 100% Polyester
Flame Retardancy: Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR)
Fabric Width: Approximately 60 inches wide (left to right).
Laundering: Machine washable & dryer safe.
