As more businesses and schools start to re-open, having a sneeze guard or dividing partition in place is becoming a necessity for the safety of employees and customers (or students) alike. With a super wide 12 foot width, this kit spans considerably longer than acrylic and plexiglass alternatives, and is a fraction of the cost. This portable partition kit is ideal for schools / colleges / universities, gyms, warehouse & manufacturing plants, and open work spaces.

The dividing Vinyl drape panel will cover the middle to upper portion of the 12 foot wide span, hanging approximately 4 feet from the top (going down toward the floor) and leaving an uncovered opening at the bottom of roughly 2.5 feet. Please see the second product picture for a highlighted example.

The dividing Vinyl drape panel covers the top to the middle / upper portion of the 12 foot wide span. It does not go all the way down to the floor (there is approximately 2 1/2 feet of an uncovered / open section at the bottom).

This 6.5 foot (78 inch) tall x 12 foot (144 inch) wide pipe and drape kit includes:

Qty 2: B102-65 - 6 1/2 foot tall silver fixed height slip-fit upright (1.5 inch diameter)
Qty 2: B505 (B505BK) - 16 inch x 14 inch base plate, with upgraded 6 inch tall base pin (approx. 12 lbs. each with included base pin) - NOTE: your base plates may be silver or black, depending on availability at the time of your order
Qty 1: B403 - Adjustable 7 foot (minimum) to 12 foot (maximum) wide silver drape support rod / crossbar -- intended to be set to the 12 foot maximum width
Qty 1: D-412V - 48 inch high x 144 inch wide clear flexible Vinyl panel with 4 inch rod pocket located at the top

A Fixed Upright is one piece. This fixed pipe does not break down into smaller sections or otherwise adjust in height. The Crossbar shrinks to as narrow as 7 feet for storage, but is intended to be set to 12 feet wide when in use with this kit. As a manufacturer, we can customize most products - please contact us if you need a different height and/or width.

The single flexible Vinyl panel is not pleated and is intended to hang flat, without any gathering / bunching.

Vinyl panel is Flame Retardant (FR) and meets the requirements of the NFPA 701 fire code. This Vinyl divider panel is heavy duty and is commonly used for boat and auto coverings.

Remove the paper slip that the vinyl is shipped with, as long term contact may mar the Vinyl. While there is no specific guidance for a how often to clean, we recommend frequently cleaning between each use by hand washing using a mild soap and water solution (DO NOT use any abrasive soaps or cleaners), and then drying by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Be sure to clean the entire panel, front and back, and make sure to not to cross-contaminate. Wash your hands thoroughly after cleaning.

Panel opacity is 0%. The vinyl panel is clear -- so clear that getting a good picture was somewhat difficult -- and it can be seen through easily.

Using the screw located in the bottom of the base pin, push the threaded screw through the bottom of the base (the screw head should rest against the flat part of the base, not the raised counter-sunk part).

Then, screw the base pin onto the base (the base pin goes on the raised portion).

Tip: For maximum stability, we recommend using the center hole for your base pin.

Our Slip-Fit Uprights are hollow, so putting them onto the base is easy! Just slide the upright over the pin.

Tip: Make sure that the "top slots" -- located right near one of the ends of the upright -- are at the top when you put it on the base. If you put the upright upside down (where the top slots are put over the base pin), then you won't be able to use the drape support rod.

Using the sewn-in pole pocket on your drape, "sleeve" the drape(s) onto the drape support rod.

Now that your drape is on your drape support rod, place the hook end of the drape support rod into one of the open slots on the upright.

Tip: Have both of your uprights set up and in place so that each hook end of the drape support rod has a home.

You're all done! In less than 10 minutes you now have a pipe and drape backdrop. For an extra tip, continue reading below.

Extra tip - Making sure your spacing is correct:

Once you have the base pin on your bases (Step 1), take the drape support rod, set it to the width that you would like, and carefully place it on the floor. Then put a base at each hook end -- where each hook end is lined up to where each base pin is located.

This helps you check that your spacing is correct before you've already put your drapes on the support rod.

If you want to double check, put your uprights over the base pin (Step 2) and hook the support rod into the lower slots (if available; not all uprights have lower slots). Check to see if it is properly spaced, and then proceed to Step 3.
